Leigh RMI manager Mark Patterson has revealed his desire to thrash terms on a new contract so that he can stay at RMI and concentrate on another season in the Conference. Since Patterson arrived as caretaker manager in December 2002, succeeding former manager Steve Waywell, RMI have had a huge upturn in fortunes with much of the acclaim being placed at the feet of former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Patterson. All this despite working without a contract!
