After Tuesday night's humiliating 5-0 home defeat to local rivals Hyde United, Steve Bleasdale's revamped Leigh RMI side have an immediate chance to bounce back when former Football League outfit Boston United visit Hilton Park on Saturday afternoon.

The match marks the fourth game in charge of the side for Steve Bleasdale as he searches for his first victory since returning to the club. His side came within seconds of a victory in his first game in charge but conceded a heartbreaking last-gasp equaliser in a 2-2 with Vauxhall Motors before Tuesday's heavy loss was preceeded by a disappointing 2-0 defeat at Blyth Spartans.

While established strikers Dan Owen and Kevin Rapley have both left the club, Bleasdale has started to make his mark on the side with former Liverpool man Mark Smyth arriving from Bangor City, Bleasdale's former club, while winger Ashley Kelly, striker Sean O'Neil, midfielder Sean Ferguson and right back Jonathan Goulding have all made their debut in recent fixtures.

Former Football League outfit Boston have endured mixed fortunes on their return to the non-league game, having been relegated two divisions before the start of the season because of a breach of league regulations.

They find themselves just outside of the play-off zone but without a win in four fixtures after two consecutive cup defeats to Workington and Kettering Town in the FA Cup and Setanta Shield respectively, while their last league outing was a 2-2 draw away to Nuneaton Borough.
