Krul Adds To Pardew Injury Crisis

Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has been sent home from International duty after sustaining an elbow injury in training. Krul, who kept a cleansheet for Netherlands at the weekend, against Turkey, has been ruled out of their midweek World Cup Qualifier against Hungary.

Krul has now returned to Newcastle to be assessed by club medics, who will determine the extent of his injury and whether of not he will be available for the clubs game against Everton next Monday night.

Newcastle United now have the highest number of players out injured in the Premier League after just three games and the International break.

Krul joins, Fabricio Coloccini (hamstring), Haris Vuckic (groin), Shane Ferguson (groin), Danny Simpson (hamstring), James Perch (neck), Ryan Taylor (ACL knee), Cheik Tiote (calf), Sammy Ameobi (hamstring), Shola Ameobi (hamstring).

Beginning to look like one of those seasons where we struggle to get anything like a first team all available and in top form at the same time hope our luck changes soon .
Maybe we're getting last seasons share of injuries added to this as apart from Taylor we had a pretty good run of luck regarding injuries
