The BAFTA'S
By Rocky64 May 8 2008
Well after some fierce voting we can reveal the results of our first inaugural BAFTA'S. Thats the Blackpool Awards for Tangerine Away Supporters. So step aboard as we unveil the award winners. The winners will soon be notified and have the awards sent out to them in July.

So First up was the award for the best opposition stadium. There was a few teams mentioned but the winner in the end was Hull City. Who I'm sure will be glad of some silverware well It's a framed certificate actually.

Best Opposition Stadium Award
Winner: Hull

We asked you what you felt was the worst opposition stadium and you voted for a club who's stadium seemed to be stuck in the 70's. Thats right its those inbreds from the hills, Burnley

Worst Opposition Stadium Award
Winner: Burnley

Stewards are either loved or hated but some go beyond the call of duty and impress us with there passion for the job. So we had an award for the Best Opposition Stewards and you voted for Colchester. Who were pleasant and most helpful and even opened the bars when they were closed early doors and even fetched a cheese and onion pie for one of elderly fans. So Best Opposition stewards award goes to Colchester!

Best Opposition Stewards Award

Winner: Colchester

Well for every good steward you have theres a tool! So we asked who has the worst stewards in the league, who deserves an award for been so damn bad? The winner was Ipswich who aren't my favorites either!

Worst Opposition Stewards Award
Winner: Ipswich Town

Yet another award is heading to the City of Hull. When we go to some grounds there fans are loud other are quiet but the best opposition fans were Hull!

Winner:Hull

Now we have to rename this award because the strong language offended one or two by all accounts. So we've renamed it, The Interbred Award and of course only one set of hillbilly's deserve this. It's them six fingered clarets Burnley!

The Interbred Award
Winner: Burnley

Now we all like a bit of snap at an away game, some of our fans can go through a dozen pies before the games started and thats just the lot in the civil service! So the award for the Best Snap goes to Colchester!

Best 'Snap' Award

Winner: Colchester

We see them at every game, squeaky voiced teenagers selling programs full of adverts. But which club has the best programme. Well whilst there maybe countless awards to celebrate  quality of programmes you voted that the real best programme award is that of Barnsley!

Best Programme Award

Winner: Barnsley

Well some games and ground are expensive and in another award we've renamed since the voting process. You decided that the "dick turpin" of the league is Sheffield United! For me this one was a harsh game, £20 something in and we're 15 minutes late, bu the performance was golden!

The Dick Turpin Award!

Winner:Sheffield agree

Well this next award celebrates the teams we've beat at there place and enjoyed it so much we'd like to play them every week. Well after taking three points of the nobbers at Sheepdale this season it was no surprise that they win the can we play you every week award!

The Can We play you Every Week award!

Winner: Preston

There's a lot of teams who may have beaten us or been beaten but deserve an Honorable mention for the entertainment they provide us with so the Entrainment Satisfaction Award goes to Ipswich who beat us 3-1 but played awesome enough to impress our voters!

Entrainment Satisfaction Award: Ipswich

Finally we move onto the award for the best overall club to visit. This award goes on quality of pubs, the friendliness of stewards, fans and civilians and expense. With some worthy contenders you were left with a tough decision but the winner was Bristol City!
