On the opposition
"It was a very competitive game against excellent opposition, It was a great test for our lads and all credit must be given to my players as this was our first full 90 minutes of action this term.
The lads were well equipped to the hot and humid conditions and came through with a promising performance, which we can build on over the next few weeks.
"A lot of good football was played out there and for the first game of pre-season it was a good spectacle and the contribution by my players was positive."
On Nicky Hunt's sending off
"I had a chat with the referee after the game as I wanted to ascertain why he'd sent Nicky (Hunt) from the field of play. He said it was a stomp, but from what we can gather there was no stomping by Nicky. I have asked the official to review his decision and he said that he will talk to tournament organisers about that. If he looks at video evidence, I hope he will change his mind as we feel there wasn't a stomp from Nicky. If the decision stands then we could face losing Nicky for some matches when the Premier League season starts next month
