By Mark Heys July 13 2007
Wanderers will play their second pre-season game in three days tommorow when they come up against Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara in the next stage of the Peace Cup tournament in South Korea.

On Thursday the Trotters where held to a 1-1 draw by local side Seongnam Ilhwa at the Seoul World Cup stadium whereas South Americans Chivas hit the ground running by convincingly defeating Racing Santander by five goals to nil.

Bolton must avoid defeat in tommorows game at the Daegu Stadium to stand any chance of reaching the final stages of the competition but they know not to take Chivas lightly.

The Mexicans finished as runners up in their domestic league and four of their first team squad played alongside ex-Wanderer Jared Borgetti in last years World Cup tournament.

Striker Omar Bravo has played for Chivas for the last six years and is currently the clubs leading goalscorer of all time with 96 goals in all competitions.

Youngsters Javier Hernandez, Patricio Araujo, Arturo Ledezma and Omar Esparza are all on international duty with the Mexican U-20 team in the youth World Cup in Canada and will be absent from contention against the Wanderers.

Ricardo Gardner (hamstring), Stelios Giannakopoulos (calf) and Blerim Dzemaili (knee) are all out of action for Bolton but Nicolas Anelka, Abdoulaye Faye, El-Hadji Diouf and Ricardo Vaz-Te could return to the fray after being rested for the opening game.

Spaniard Mikel Alonso still hasnt confirmed his transfer from Real Sociedad so will not feature for Bolton, but the likes of Gavin McCann and Gerald Cid may once again get the chance to impress for their new club after making promising debuts earlier in the week.
