Bolton recruited German youth international Kevin from his native country one year ago and he has quickly adapted to the English way of life both on and off the field.

Within his first season at the club he had broken into the reserve team and scored in the games against Middlesbrough and Newcastle United towards the end of the season.

The Newcastle game proved particularly important as it helped the Wanderers claim the reserve league title.
