March 27 2004
A ninety-third minute winner from former Barnet hit-man Sean Devine condemned RMI to a heart breaking defeat in Devon after a chaotic last five minute spell.
RMI held the lead for long periods of the game after going in front after just thirteen minutes when David McNiven scored yet again after Martyn Lancaster flicked on a Michael Price corner.

McNiven went close to extending the lead after half an hour only for Exeter goalkeeper James Bittner to parry away his shot.

James Coppinger went close in the second half for the hosts as they looked for an equaliser, and it finally arrived with just fifteen minutes remaining when RMI's Australian goalkeeper Ian Martin was finally beaten, with Dean Moxey scoring off a Alex Jeannin corner.

The hosts then broke RMI hearts and looked to have won it with barely a minute remaining on the clock when Moxey turned provider and Sean Devine made it 2-1.

However, RMI scored a dramatic equaliser after ninety-one minutes when centre back Neil Durkin popped up with a vital goal from Andy Roscoe's corner.

Unfortunately, there was disaster for RMI when the hosts incredibly took the lead again after more than ninety-three minutes when Roscoe handballed against his former club and Devine scored his second from Scott Hiley's free kick.
