Veteran goalkeeper who joined Leigh Genesis in December 2010 as back-up to number one goalkeeper Adam Judge and to assist manager Alan Kershaw and player/coaches Andy Heald and Steve Brockley.

Priestley has played for a whole host of clubs during his career, including Rochdale, Stalybridge Celtic, Radcliffe Borough and a long spell with Bangor City, whilst even coming up against Leigh during the 2010/2011 when playing in goal for Runcorn Linnets in an FA Cup tie at Crilly Park.

Priestley's Leigh Genesis debut came in a 3-1 loss away to Garforth Town in the Evo-Stik League First Division North on Tuesday 18th January 2011, with his home debut coming in a 3-2 win over Trafford at Crilly Park on Tuesday 25th January 2011.

Priestley showed his off-field skills by leading from the dugout in the absence of boss Alan Kershaw for a 2-1 win over Radcliffe Borough at Crilly Park on Tuesday 12th April 2011.
