Left-sided player, capable of playing in defence and midfield, who joined Genesis in August 2010 after an impressive pre-season trial period.

Made his Leigh debut in the 2-1 home defeat to Curzon Ashton at Crilly Park on Saturday 21st August 2010, the opening day of the 2010/2011 Evo-Stik League Division One North season.

Williams even had chance to show his talents as a goalkeeper when he put the gloves on in a 3-0 league defeat to Salford City on Saturday 9th October 2010 when Adam Judge was sent off shortly before half-time.

After making a total of fourteen appearances for Leigh, Williams joined Prescot Cables during the 2010/2011 season.
