CHRIS BAGULEY

Midfielder Chris Baguley joined Leigh Genesis in June 2009 from UniBond Premier League club FC United of Manchester, signing for Leigh at the same time as brother Jamie.
Chris began his career with Oldham Athletic, before two spells with FC United were interrupted by a short period in Australia with Mandurah City.
Baguley made a goalscoring debut for Leigh Genesis, hitting the net less than ten minutes after coming on as a substitute in a 3-1 UniBond League Division One North win away to Rossendale United on the opening day of the 2009/2010 season. His full debut arrived two days later in a 2-1 defeat away to Curzon Ashton, though Baguley once again found himself on the scoresheet.
Chris made his final appearance for the club as a substitute in a 4-1 victory over Skelmersdale United at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium on Saturday 31st October before leaving Leigh to join Salford City on Friday 6th November 2009. He had made ten league appearances (two starts), scoring five goals. He scored six goals in seven cup games (five starts), given a total of eleven goals in seventeen games (seven starts).
However, a little more than a month after first leaving Leigh, Baguley rejoined the club for a second spell on 18th December 2009, making his second 'debut' as a substitute against AFC Fylde on 19th December 2009, scoring his side's fourth goal in a 4-1 win at the Leigh Sports Village Stadium.
