KRIS KING

Former Leeds United and Wigan Athletic youth team player Kris King trained with Leigh Genesis during the summer of 2008, prior to joining UniBond League Division One North outfit FC Halifax Town.
The left back signed for Leigh in January 2009 and made his debut in the 3-1 (after extra time) defeat to Ashton United in the UniBond League Challenge Cup Third Round at Hurst Cross on Monday 12th January 2009.
King made his full league debut in a 4-0 defeat to Eastwood Town at Clitheroe's Shawbridge ground on Saturday 17th January 2009.
His first goal for the club arrived on the occasion of his fiftieth first team appearance in a 2-1 loss to Radcliffe Borough on Saturday 12th December 2009.
