Young defender who can also play in midfield who has Lancashire representative honours, along with North West Counties League experience with Ashton Athletic.

Farrington joined Leigh in October 2008, making his Genesis debut in December 2008 in a 3-2 defeat to Radcliffe Borough in the Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Trophy Second Round.

His league debut arrived as a substitute on Boxing Day 2008 in a 2-0 defeat to Witton Albion at Cantilever Park, Warrington.

Farrington made his full league debut in a 3-1 defeat away to Ilkeston Town on Saturday 28th February 2009.
