MATT BERKELEY

Striker Matt Berkeley joined Leigh Genesis in August 2008 after a short spell with Blue Square North side Droylsden, making his Leigh debut in the 2-0 defeat away to Eastwood Town on the opening day of the 2008/09 season.

The Manchester-born forward, an Under 20 international for St. Kitt's & Nevis, began his career with now-defunct Scottish side Gretna, spending a loan spell with Workington before later moving to Altrincham and then a second spell with Workington.

In light of Leigh's financial problems, Berkeley left the club to join Mossley in November 2008.
