ANDREW TEAGUE
D.O.B. 05/02/1986

A promising defender, Teague joined Leigh Genesis in June 2008 on a free transfer from local League Two side Macclesfield Town, where he made his debut as a teenager after climbing through the youth ranks at Moss Rose.
A serious leg injury in November 2006 curtailed his progress somewhat, but he returned to fitness with loan spells in the Blue Square North with Tamworth and Hyde United, while further appearances with Macc saw him total nearly forty first team matches for the Silkmen before signing for the Genesis, making his Leigh debut in the 2-0 defeat to Eastwood Town on the opening day of the 2008/09 UniBond Premier League season.
Teague scored his first goal for Leigh Genesis with what proved to be the winning goal in a 1-0 win away to Marine on 23rd September 2008.
In light of Leigh's financial problems, Teague left the club in November 2008 to join UniBond Division One side Lancaster City, although a player of his quality is likely to find himself further up the football pyramid sooner rather than later.
