JOSH WILSON
D.O.B. 05/07/1988

Young defender or midfielder, who joined Leigh Genesis as one of the club's first three full-time signings for the 2008/09 season after starting in twenty one Blue Square Premier fixtures for Northwich Victoria during 2007/08, making his Genesis debut in the 2-0 defeat to Eastwood Town on the opening day of the 2008/09 UniBond Premier League season.
Wilson scored his first goal for Leigh Genesis in the 2-1 home victory over Prescot Cables on 2nd September 2008.
Wilson earned himself a special place in the hearts of Genesis supporters when he rejected the approaches of other clubs to represent Leigh, free of charge, in their emotional FA Trophy tie with Cammell Laird in November 2008.
That particular appearance proved to be his last as, several days later, he left the club to join Blue Square North outfit Burscough after making sixteen competitive appearances for Leigh Genesis.
