JONATHAN GOULDING
Right back or central midfielder who joined the club in October 2007 after starting his career in the same Everton Academy side as Wayne Rooney and James Vaughan, before playing at Blackpool and Morecambe prior to arriving at Hilton Park. Impressive form in the 2007/08 season saw him crowned both the Manager's Player and Player's Player of the Year.
Goulding also had the honour of becoming one of the club's first ever full-time signings when he signed a new deal in May 2008.
However, Leigh's poor financial position meant that Goulding left the club in late November 2008 to join Blue Square North outfit Burscough.
