STUART WHITTAKER
D.O.B. 02/01/1975

Experienced midfielder who rejoined Leigh for a third spell at the club in March 2008, making the first appearance of his return as a substitute in the 3-1 defeat at Hinckley United.

Whittaker previously made twenty appearances for Leigh during the 2002/03 season whilst also appearing in several pre-season friendlies during the summer of 2007.

Starting his career with Liverpool, Whittaker soon joined Bolton Wanderers and was on the fringes of the first team and Burnden Park before a loan spell at Wigan Athletic paved the way for a three year stay at Macclesfield Town, before dropping in to non-league with Southport.

Whittaker left Leigh for UniBond League side Colwyn Bay in late March 2008, less than a month after rejoining the club and having made only one substitute appearance.
