MARK SMYTH
D.O.B. 09/01/1985

Former Liverpool striker who joined the club in October 2007 from Welsh Premier League side Bangor City, where he was previously managed by Steve Bleasdale. Smyth made his league debut in the 2-0 defeat at Blyth Spartans later that month, finishing the 2007/08 season as the side's top goalscorer.
Smyth spent a short period back with Bangor City in their UEFA Cup campaign in the summer of 2008, rejoining Leigh Genesis in time for the start of the UniBond Premier League season.
Smyth comes from a strong sporting background in the Leigh area, with cousin Rob Smyth spending two spells with Leigh Centurions between 2005 and 2007.
Smyth's first goal fo the 2008/09 season arrived in October in the 2-1 defeat away to Cammell Laird.
After scoring twelve goals in thirty six appearances for Leigh Genesis, Smyth left the club to join Witton Albion in mid-November 2008.
