Promising young centre back that joined the club, originally on loan, from Coca Cola League side Chester City before joining on a permanent deal in January 2008, scoring first goal in the 2-1 home win over Burscough.
Prior to joining Leigh, Marsh-Evans gained first team experience in loan spells with Droylsden and Vauxhall Motors, before signing a new contract in May 2008 to commit to the club for the 2008/09 UniBond Premier League campaign.
However, in light of Leigh's financial problems, Marsh-Evans left the club in November 2008 to rejoin former club Vauxhall Motors in the Blue Square North after making scoring one goal in thirty one Leigh appearances.
