Your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from this evening's 1-0 home defeat to Barrow.....

Following this afternoon's 1-0 home defeat to Barrow, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.

Despite a poor Rovers performance on the night, a draw would not have been an unfair final score against arguably the poorest side to visit Prenton Park so far this season.

The visitors took the lead eight minutes before the end of a dismal first half which saw neither side get a grip on the game but saw Rovers having the most of what chances there were in the first half.

Rovers were unable to up their level of performance by much in the second half but still had a number of excellent chances as the Rovers goal at the other went relatively untroubled much like in the first half.

The result sees Rovers in seventh place in the National League just two points from the final play-off place but eight points behind leaders Forest Green

Not many in the frame tonight.

Adam Mekki the little bit of creativity we did show came from him.

Thought Matt Hill had another good game.

Only Harris & Hill put any effort in, in my opinion.

Margetts needs to stop thinking he can just walk this league. He was absolutely shocking tonight!

Should be retitled the least worst-a shambolic performance from virtually all. Our central midfield was bypassed so I don't see how Harris or Jennings can remotely feature. Absolutely appalling standard of hoofing.

Sponsor's motm was Norwood - apparently Ritchie was just about to announce it, when the player failed to control a simple pass, and it bounced off to one of their players 15 yards away!

The best player on the park last night was Neil Ashhton.
Another of our former youth that has had a good career away from PP.
Have him back soonest!

Our own player mom would be Harris, the worst was jenno!

Hill for me. Just like to add I thought margetts was abysmal. Kind of starting to see why he has gone from hull u21s and doing things like scoring three consecutive hat tricks to walking round the pitch with his head down in the national league.
