In our latest Man of the Match vote of the season which related to last Friday night’s televised 1-1 away draw at Grimsby Town, we can reveal that defender Matt Hill was voted as your Man of the Match for the game.....     

After a full week of voting following Tranmere's televised 1-1 away derby draw at Grimsby Town last Friday night, we can now reveal that the Man of the Match for Tranmere's performance, as voted for by you the fans and readers of this site, was defender Matt Hill.

Rovers fell behind to a first half goal from the hosts but a much improved second half performance saw Nathan Blissett score a deserved equaliser for Rovers to end in what both Managers described as a fair result at full-time.

Four other players polled one vote each (8% of the vote each), two of them from the starting line-up and two of the substitutes.  Steven Jennings and Adam Dawson from the starting eleven and goalscorer Nathan Blissett and Marcus Holness from the bench were the players who polled one vote each this time around. 

Thanks to everyone who voted in the Man of the Match poll and don't forget that you will are still able to vote for your Man of the Match for Tuesday evening's 3-1 home win over Aldershot Town on THIS LINK whilst the poll for Saturday's match away at Cheltenham Town will be available later this evening after the match so stay tuned to Total Tranmere.
