Your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match from Saturday afternoon's 3-2 away defeat by Plymouth Argyle.......
Following the 3-2 away defeat to Plymouth Argyle on Saturday afternoon which of course ultimately saw Rovers lose their 94 year Football League status, we are asking you to vote for you Tranmere Man of the Match from the game as part of our post-match poll series.
Rovers fell behind early in the game to one of the most ridiculous penalty decisions many fans will have ever seen which was converted by the Pilgrims top scorer Reuben Reid. Max Power equalised for Rovers ten minutes before half-time with a great strike but the parity only lasted three minutes before Holmes-Dennis scored with a great strike depite a blatant foul on Rory Donnelly in the build-up.

Michael Ihiekwe had a solid game against Plymouth Argyle
Rovers battled in the second half with Green and Hume coming on to increase the tempo of the game but Rovers simply didn't create enough in front of goal and Lewis Alessandra added a third for the home side nine minutes from the final whistle. There was still time for Kayode Odejayi to add a second for Rovers in the 89th minute but by that time, the Hartlepool game was virtually over and Rovers fans knew that a further two goals (and a win) would be needed to save their proud Leageu status.
