In the most clear victory in any Man of the Match poll so far, Everton loanee George Green wins your Man of the Match Award for the home game against AFC Wimbledon......

After a full week of voting, it can now be confirmed that you, the fans and readers of this site, voted on loan Everton midfieder George Green as your Tranmere Rovers Man of the Match for last Saturday's 1-1 home draw against AFC Wimbledon at Prenton Park.

The victory for Green in the poll will come as no surprise to anyone who was at the game as the youngster was by far the standout player in white on the day.  As well as eclipsing Kayode Odejayi's Goal of the Season contender from the week before with his stunning 94th minute equaliser, Green ran the show and got stuck in from the word go.  Always wanting the ball and not afarid to have a moan at some of the more senior pros when he felt it necessary, Green was the breath of fresh air Rovers have been missing for quite some time.

As you can see from the poll below which had a total of thirty-nine votes cast, George Green polled a massive 77% of the votes (30 votes) to take the award with his nearest contenders in joint scond place being Adam Dugdale and Liam Ridehalgh with 8% of the vote each (3 votes). 

Aside from the top three mentioned above, only two other players polled any votes at all, including substitutes, with Jennison Myrie-Williams polling 5% (2 votes) and Steven Jennings polling 3% (1 vote).

Stay tuned on Friday evening for your chance to vote for your Tranmere Man of the Match for the vital away trip to Stevenage which of course takes place at 3.00pm on Friday with the results of that poll to be announced on Sunday evening of next week prior to Rovers' Easter Monday home game against Luton Town.

Need the other players to step up to the plate in the remaining games , expectations on Green and Hume to pull us out of the mire is unreasonable......but hey ,we all know and want that.
