Mick Horton to Retire
Tranmere have confirmed today that Mick Horton is to retire on Saturday from his current role at the Club after nearly two decades of service to the Club. During his 18 years at Prenton Park, Horton as served a number of roles including Club Secretary, Chief Executive and Director of Football Operations. The Club confirmed today that Mick will retain a connection with the Club, as non-executive Associate Director, to ensure that his knowledge and experience continues to be available to the Club to ensure a smooth transition.
Through their official website they also thanked Horton for all his hard work over the years. Tranmere's Head of Communications Tim Roberts will take on the role of Club Secretary with immediate effect whilst also keeping his current role.
Total Tranmere would also like to thank Mick for his service to the Club over the past 18 years and wish him luck in the future.
Reserves Draw 1-1 With Wrexham
Wednesday afternoon saw Rovers' reserve side in action at Vauxhall Motors' Rivacre Park as they hosted Wrexham reserves in the Final Third Development League. The game ended 1-1 as Tranmere fielded a young side that featured only Liam Ridehalgh, Iain Hume, Sam Ramsbottom and Jake Kirby from the first team playing squad.

Goody Testimonial Tickets Out on Monday
Finally, as announced earlier in the week, tickets for Ian Goodison's Testimonial game will go on sale on Monday 9th March priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for Under 17's and tickets are initially on sale for the Main Stand, Paddocks and Cowsheds with further stands potentially to be opened subject to demand. Tickets will be available from the Club Shop/Ticket Office and also online at www.trfctickets.co.uk.
Tranmere Suite tickets will be priced at £16, the Warwick Rimmer Vice Presidents' Suite will be £18 and the Dixie Dean Suite will be £30. Tickets for all the Suites for this game will be limited and Tranmere are advising that refreshments will only be served in the Dixie Dean Suite to keep costs to a minimum.
