If you can't make Tranmere's game at home to Notts County on Tuesday evening, why not join in the banter right here with other Rovers fans who are unable to attend......
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the more costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match analysis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game as well as a half-time report on how the game is going for the benefit of those who are unable to make it.
Tranmere of course host Notts County on Tuesday evening in NPower League One so if you're not going to the game why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on?
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores throughout the league as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.
Admin staff will try and add the team and updates on the game on this thread where possible whilst there will also be our usual update service from our Twitter feed @totaltranmere so if you are not already following us it may be worth doing so!
We looked nervous and first 20 minutes our defence was the worst i have EVER seen. Feared the worst but we knuckled down an got a grip for the second quarter. Second half like the first but we showed guts to get the equaliser and if it had been 5 minutes earlier could have won. Notts County are the most hateful side i have ever seen and I wish him them the worst for the future. Danny Holmes my MOTM, Aikens looked totally lost playing as a striker, Brunt has no bottle in front of goal, Robbo fought all the way and led from the front, thought Ash Taylor needed the samaritans phone number by half time and Zoom looked good when he got on. All in all a good night though, 4-4-2 a refreshing change but NOT with Aitkins up there. Absolutely cant wait for Saturday now - bring it on - SWA!!!!

thought if we good today and lets not forget thats is a side that hasnt conceeded in for games and we look like the bigger treat in front of goal but could have easily bin 3-0 down at half time man of the match for me goes to fonners and he has to score from a corners soon surley
Good performance tonight, great to see them fight for every ball and some great performances out there. If I had some criticism it would be not to play Akins up top or Weir wide. Akins is just not a very good player up front, has no footballing brain at all, Robbo would have been better there to be honest. Weir is just not a wide player but with both wingers out then we had no choice. Would like to see Zoom in there on Saturday though, threatened a lot when he came on and Showumni although he didn't do a lot, still threatened more than Lucas.
Still, great performance, great to see their reactions when that goal went in and it was nothing more than we deserved. County, still a horrible team but not quite as bad as last year. Oh and the ref was shocking too, couldn't go near any of their players without giving away a foul when half the time they were the aggressors.
i dont think you can class huddersfield as final minutes it was the 51st miniute we scored but still a salvaged point what made the diffrence for me me was a game of end to end football no of this we will soak up the pressure for 20 mins and attack for 5 mins so that was great to see simply could fault them as a team yesterday and couple of players under performed and i will say welsh and ash akins wasnt great but he won every ball played to him in the air
mattyj Oh and the ref was shocking too, couldn't go near any of their players without giving away a foul when half the time they were the aggressors.
He was one of those refs that basically guess each decision and look authoritative in a smug, schoolmaster-ish way. There was a moment in the second half when the ball got lost in the corner betwen the Kop and the JK stand and he didn't call for a new ball for ages. When someone in the JK stand berated him, he actually looked at the guy that was shouting at him and shook his head tutting, as if to show that he was above all the riff raff. Tw*t.
Didn't see the incident with Joss. I assume from his track record that the ref got that one right and it was another rubbish, over-exagerated dive, although I'd like to know whether it really was because it certainly looked like a penalty from where I was sitting.
Over all a good point first twenty minutes a little bit anxious
Goodinson`s back header could have been picked up by Fon Williams because it was not the hardest of back header`s but it was not and this brought on the corner and from their we conceded the goal and again an anxious period of defending.
But it is not the fact that we go a goal down because after Notts County scored that gaol they did not have that many other chances after that the fact is our old problem that has hauntedus all season is the amount of balls put into the box(certainly 2nd half)theirs nobody capable in their to take that one step nearer i.e stick it in the net.
First half towards the cowshed the ball was bouncing around like a tennis ball was not getting cleared quick but their was not one forward(striker) who`s leg was their to take advantage the missing factor being a predator(Aldo/Muiry).
Also second half their was one moment when Akins had a ball played to him were he added a touch to that ball and in doing so lead to loosing the ball were in fact if he had not touched that ball and instead followed it for a second or two more whilst the ball`s inertia slowed and he would have been in a better position to strike but I suppose this might come to him in time. But again we have drawn and those around us our picking up points at a greater rate unless we can start scoring so with a bit of luck perhaps Ronnie can get some one in to help put that ball in net.
In the period of the last five games the total points gained
are as follows.
Yeovil 13pts league pts 39
Walsall 11pts " pts 36
Wycom 9pts " pts 32
Scuny 8pts " pts 38
Chest`d 8pts " pts 31
Exeter 6pts " pts 34
TRANMERE 3pts " pts 35
Rochdale 3pts " pts 30
The above shows what we are up against in turning draws into wins unless we can start putting ball in net and turn the corner we are heading in the wrong way the above group is our own mini league so we have to aim at getting to the top of that group or at least above the bottom four it is going to be a hard run in unless goals start going in.

Good effort, can't knock most of them for the way they battled, obviously Akins no good up front, but Ronnie needed to see that and now he has he probably wont play him there again.
Agree we looked very nervous but also stick with my statement of a couple of weeks ago which for those who didn't see it was:- Unfortunately, I (only my opinion) don't think the players are good enough to keep us up.
dont no if anyone else heard notts county managers interview saying his player should have gone down outside the box not in the box because he would have got the free kick but i dont no if it just me but isnt he saying slightest bit if contact hit the deck which is classed as diving
Noted two thing missing last night one of them being when kicking off to start the play was the old boot it out to the wing and have Akins or Showunmi leg it up the wing(Rugby style) and in turn would most likely not get it hence the opponents get a throw in and then they have the ball in fact when Tranmere kicked off second half it was played with some movement to retain ball and the other item concerns the dug out area now that Les has gone who`s going to count the stones on the ground round the technical area I think it was one of Les`s
past times in and around that area during games,Ronnie did not seem to have taken this past time up last night he seemed to be taken more notice of what was happening on the pitch perhaps in time when the team has settled he to can take up this stone counting past time but only when we have won at least six games or have reached the total of 51+pts.
Ronnie,s team at the end would be mine to start the next match....Robbo on the right and Zoom on the left...Brunt and enoch up front and Joss instead of Weir in mid feild(the lad can't pass...gave the ball away all night...good moves breaking down when it got to him).Great to see an attacking line up...in my opinion a good start for Ronnie....and what a great reception he got..well done Super White Army.
Thought we huffed and puffed for large spells last night without really creating much of note. The effort was there in abundance though and you can't fault that.
I fear we may have made the change too late, struggling to see where the 5 wins required are coming from. But hopefully Ronnie can bring in some quality on loan, as we lack so much of it in attacking areas.
all very quiet ! no stats ???? 1 win in .................why is that ? just against les ? stuck up for him, and Barnes and Mc befor ! but posted when Les took over I dreaded the day when the 'fans' turned on him ! wonder how long RM will get before the 'supporters' turn on him too
No stats - he's been in charge 1 game, that's why. 0 wins in 1.. Wooo.
But the performance? Much better, much more positive. We were under much less pressure, we weren't so deep. Their was passion, grit, determination, effort. Some encouraging signs, give RM a bit more time with this squad and he'll have them really going imo. Especially with the potential for 1/2 additions.
For the fist time since September I walked away feeling proud of the performance we'd just put in. If you can walk out the stadium feeling a sense of pride about what you've just watched you can't complain imo.
There was a lot of effort put in buy the team last night it was certainly a battling performance and good to get a late point.
It was an ok match but i thought we were a bit lacking in qualtiy, weir didnt play well akins was truly shocking i thought holmes & welsh were our best players.
jade-trfc i dont think you can class huddersfield as final minutes it was the 51st miniute we scored
I didn't; I quoted the result as a salvaged point, but never inferred it was a late on salvage, also quoting the Sheff U game, as a point salvaged later in the day.
I simply refer to a salvaged point as coming back from behind, but some may think salvaged points are when you come back in the last 10-15 minutes, but that's okay, as I don't think such things have a hard and fast rule anyway.
The main thing is the Huddersfield, Sheff U and County games, were good well earned points and that sort of fighting grit shown against County, will be an invaluable tool in the war against relegation.
Then I ate his Liver.......... with some baked beans and a can of coke.
@agony , I often used stats to show stats like it was a good point against Charlton given that Charlton had won 13 out of 17 games away or so. Some spent time with the 1 in 20 moan. However, now isn't the time for negativity, now is the time to embrace the change, give the Manager some time , and to accept the fact that in the UK, people are only happy when they are complaining, so that will be inevitable at some point. In fact some people are stuck because they hadn't got Les to whinge about meaning less posts than normal after a game.
Why not accept what is, and move on to positive posts about the current situation, whilst we all can? There are other members on here who will provide the negativity very shortly.
@gony, people are not complaining because the team showed what we were all looking for, a bit of guile, determination and team spirit.
Nobody hated Les as a person, however his failure to admit he was in the wrong was bordering on ridiculous. He didn't have the experience or know how to guide us to any sort of progression.
I'm sure I speak for the majority of people on here when I say he is a really nice bloke and we wish him well in whatever he decides to do next?
I think all managers know they will be sacked at some stage, I do feel Les was given a lot more time than anyone else would have been given to be fair?
Forget what's gone before, this is a new chapter in Tranmere history.
This was Ronnie Moore's first match, all the signs are encouraging and we all hope that the team can build something from this.
Can't see why you're trying to turn something positive into a negative @gony? or are you up to your old tricks of posting negative comments on here just to kick start a reaction from other posters?
Seems like you will disagree with anyone just to get your 2 minutes of thunder on here? Seriously reckon you need to get out more?
how is @gony a negative person when he spent most week trying to defend les when we in @#$%& form he has just proved a point that everyone problems were with les and not with the players there the ones who have won 1 in 21 games and thats not me having ago at the squad because its a new manager its a new start none of the players are new.

Hate to say this but I totally disagree with your remarks!
I know I lambasted a few players on here and I remember a few others having a go too.
There was even a thread about their antics and attitudes on Twitter!
Look further down the page at previous posts before making bold statements which are totally incorrect!
I stick by my previous comments about @gony posting things on here purely to provoke a reaction!
the way everyone has put a negative spin on everything he has said he has tried to stick with les and the players long after everyone else because he had faith just like me his faith was miss placed to say the least but is he not aloud to be sarcastic when no one has mention 1 win in 21 just because we have a new manager it has stopped dont get me wrong it was getting boaring to hear everyday and i can safely say we played by far better tuesday than we have in a while not including hudders and charlton but you have to agree that its still the same players on the pitch so why shouldn't the stat remain

Its still 1 win in 21 but under a new manager etc is it not fair to reset it and give RM a chance?
RM had 1 training session with the lads on Monday, before the game. 1 training session only - and look how much better they were? Spent weeks moaning about people being negative then after a change at the club, and a much, much better performance as you say, people are now positive.
A positive thread, complimenting the performance, the determination, the passion - everything's that been missing. Just thought the thread could have done without that, specially with said persons stance over negative comments for the last few weeks.
Comes across as if he wished someone had said it, which is bizarre.
