Tranmere unveil new kit ahead of 2011/12 season

Just one day before the start of the 2011/12 League One season, Tranmere Rovers have unveiled their brand new home kit, manufcatured by Carbrini.
The new strip, which will be worn by Rovers' first team for the next two seasons, is in Tranmere's traditional white colours, with a thin blue stripe down the side of the shirt and shorts.

The shirt, which is priced at £39.99 (£29.99 for kids), also sports a blue line around the neck, whilst the Tranmere Rovers club badge, placed on the heart of the wearer, has sunray like lines protruding from it.
Tranmere's main sponsor, Wirral Borough Council, also has it's logo emblazened across the front of the kit in blue writing.
Adult shorts are priced at £15.99, with kids priced at £13.99, whilst socks, which are think white and blue stripes, are priced at £9.99 and £6.99 respectively.

Although a picture of the shirt was leaked by JD Sports in Cheshire Oaks earlier this week, the kit is in fact not on sale in any outlet other than the Tranmere Rovers club shop and can be purchased from today, August 5th, with the shop staying open until 8pm tonight.
The kit will be worn for the first time by the Tranmere first team tomorrow for their opening league game against Chesterfield, whilst it can also be purchase online from www.trfcshop.co.uk.
