Due to Sheffield Wednesday's progression to the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday, Tranmere's League One trip to Hillsborough in just under three weeks time has been arranged and will now take place in March....

As Tranmere were throwing away a two goal lead in the final ten minutes of the home game against Walsall on Saturday afternoon, there was another development out of their control which sealed more bad news for Rovers fans come 5.00pm.
Sheffield Wednesday's superb 3-0 away win at Bristol City in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon means that they will play at home to either Hereford United or Wycombe Wanderers on the weekend of the 29th January - the day on which Rovers were meant to visit Hillsborough themselves in League One.

As a result of that, the trip by Rovers to Yorkshire will now not take place until Tuesday 22nd March with a 7.45pm kick off which is surely likely to reduce the amount of support for Rovers at the game compared to your normal Saturday afternoon match.
All of Rovers postponed matches have now been re-arranged.
