Rovers Announce Squad Numbers

Tranmere Rovers have announced what squad numbers their players will be wearing for the 2010/11 season

With just ten days to go until the start of the 2010/11 season, Tranmere Rovers have today announced which squad numbers the players will be wearing next year.

There are few surprises in the list of numbers, with majority of last seasons squad retaining their shirts from last year, although interestingly Terry Gornell has been handed the number 10 shirt, whilst Dale Jennings and Max Power, both second year scholars, have also been allocated squad numbers.

The full list of squad numbers for next season is as follows:

I'm surprised that Wood is number 14, it looks the starting centre halves are gonna be Broomes an Goody.

I would have preferred to see Wood and Goody form a decent partnership together as they have during the two games theyve played in pre season!

I would think wood will be back up to goody & broomes although broomes may not yet be fit.

I wouldnt read to much into the squad numbers as zoom is 24 and likely to be first choice left back and joss is 25 and will start

Wood only signed today, and Broomes may have been handed the no.4 shirt days ago, but the list only submitted today.

Wood may even have requested the no.14 shirt... Thierry Henry used to always ask for that number, and I know Yakubu always used to ask for his seasons target of goals for his squad number!

you never know. But as bigmart says, don't read anything into squad numbers
