Total Tranmere brings you an up to date (at time of writing) feature on the clubs current transfer activity

Tranmere Rovers were today dealt a huge blow in the transfer market as Huddersfield Town midfielder James Berrett joined Carlisle United on a free-transfer.
A Republic of Ireland U-21 international, highly rated teenager Berrett was a player Tranmere boss Les Parry was hugely interested in and Total Tranmere believes the club had agreed a deal to sign the midfielder from the Terriers.
However, at the eleventh hour, Carlisle, who recently signed Craig Curran from Tranmere, came in and took Berrett away from Les Parry's grasp.
Better news for Rovers though is the return to training of French defender and key player Zoumana Bakayogo.

The former Millwall and Paris Saint-Germain left-back joined Rovers last season but his contract with the club expired in June.
He had looked unlikely to re-sign at Prenton Park after manager Les Parry confirmed the club had failed to contact the player, but reports have surfaced today that the 23-year old is set to sign a two-year deal with the club.
Another player who could sign for the Prenton Park club is former Coventry City youngster Curtis Wynter, who is currently on trial at Raby Vale.
The 19-year old, who was released by the Sky Blues this summer, made two appearances for his hometown club after signing a professional contract two seasons ago, and is believed to have impressed manager Les Parry during training.
Another player who has joined the Tranmere squad for pre-season training is former Swansea City and Leeds United striker Lee Trundle.
Total Tranmere believes, however, that Liverpool born Trundle, who John Aldridge looked into signing when he was Tranmere manager, is simply training with the Wirral club in order to maintain his fitness as he looks to earn a contract following his release by Swansea.

Tranmere were also today linked to signing Nicky Weaver following his release by Burnley, though there appears to be no truth in this rumour as Tranmere look to close a deal to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Gunnar Nielsen on a season long loan.
Away from Prenton Park, former Rovers winger Chris Shuker is currently on trial at Scottish club Motherwell and played in their 3-1 pre-season win over Brechin on Tuesday night, whilst Clint Hill has signed for Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
Also on the move have been former Rovers trio Chris Dagnall, Gareth Edds and Steve Simonson, who have joined Scunthorpe United, North Queensland Fury and Sheffield United respectively.
