Rovers extend the stay of goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi for a further week from Merseyside neighbours Liverpool due to injuries to both of the Club's other first team goalkeepers Luke Daniels and Joe Collister...............
Tranmere Rovers have today been given permission by the Football League to extend the loan stay of goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi by a further seven days.
The Hungarian U-21 international joined Rovers from Liverpool seven days ago on an emergency loan deal due to injuries to first choice goalkeeper Luke Daniels and back up 'keeper Joe Collister, going straight into the first team to play against Exeter and Brentford on Saturday and Tuesday.
Both 'keepers have failed to recover from their respective injuries (tailbone and thigh injuries) and as such Gulacsi has extended his stay from Liverpool and will start in net for Tranmere against Colchester United tomorrow.
mmm curiouse as Andy C was on the bench ! has Daniels gone back I wonder ? from what I heard of the grief he'd been getting from some............. and assume Joe C injured........ waiting for new of last nights match and who played .................. sub ? sorry no cash and for a while no car so missed a few : - (
Daniels has a tailbone injury and Collister a thigh injury, both I think picked up in training. Luke is still with the club though I imagine. Would you pick Coughlin in the first team?
