Throughout the season we will provide you with a platform to discuss each and every Rovers match whether it be the build-up to kick-off or post match analysis so here we bring you the Match Discussion Thread for tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy second round match away at Bury........
Bury v Tranmere
Kick-Off 7.45pm at Gigg Lane
For those fans who can't make some of the Rovers games this season, particularly the high number of costly and time consuming southern away games, we at Total Tranmere will be providing a Match Discussion Thread on the Site for every Rovers game.
The thread will allow you to discuss everything from the pre-match build up and starting line-up to the game it as it progresses and the post-match anaylsis.
Where possible, Total Tranmere staff will post up the starting line-up and substitutes on the thread as soon as it is made known at the game.
Tranmere travel to Bury tonight in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, so if you're not going to the game, why not join in the banter right here while the game is going on.
Maybe if you have a friend or family member texting you from the game you can post their views here for others to see as the game progresses.
You could also use this thread to discuss other interesting scores in Coca-Cola League One as well as discussing this game afterwards if you have been along to the game.
What you discuss below is up to you but hopefully it can all be focused on one thread to make it easier for everyone to use.

anyone who went can you let us know what the performance was like. sounds from the report that it was pretty even and we were maybe unlucky. how was the midfield with barnett and mahon at cm? i liked the look more of our midfield tonight.
It was still a lossing side and reflects how poor the vquality of the squad is. Millwall, Leeds and Exeter fans have said that we are one of the weakest teams they have seen. Now exeter have seen afair few conference games in recent time
the team just isnt strong enough , certain players are carryin others , mahon , shuker, mclaren, an the old fella at the back are useless, we are goin off last season thinkin we shud reach the play offs again , thats not goin 2 happen , we didnt have a team 3 weeks before the season an certain people think were goner do well , no chance , our aim this season is to stay in this division , other than that thats it ,
My apologies for saying I could not recall a 5-0 defeat in my 40 years as a Rover's supporter. Clearly my memory is not what it was. My thanks to all those fans who reminded me.
I see that Barnes has a 2 year contract. How much does he get I wonder.
With falling gates, a very poor playing squad, an excellent Chairlady due to leave the club, a £2 million debt to Johnson, and a clueless manager, I don't think there is anyone who can stop the club going into administration and eventually, the Conference!
Lorraine is no longer chairman/lady. She stepped down from this role at the end of last season. I think she maybe still on the board though as a non-executive member.
well i see that u seem to be blaming the defence again sub alas to say i had to let you know that barnett was awful and so was welsh the defence was a hell of a lot better due to goodie lcb taylor rcb edds rb and cresswell lb the midfield has to track runners and tackle which they never did bains up front was always falling over and would not pass when better options were open and easier to do as ive said on other threads barnett has been awful for the reserves and it proved it at the bury game why he hasnt been picked for first team so its nice to say to other users go to reserves before moaning who should play my last gripe is at those fans who were chanting barnes out before players came onto pitch then after they shoke hands it was even worse when we scored the fans crying for barnes out it dosnt help the players confidence they were there to support the team not belittle the way they had just scored
Can't argue Pedro that the likes of Bain, Barnett etc were also poor but I was referring more to the manner in which they scored certainly their first goal (I missed their winner cos I was near the fighting sadly).
