Jim On Posh Tie

Town manager Jim Magilton says he is looking forward to Town’s Carling Cup tie against Peterborough.

Jim said: “It's a good draw and has a derby feel about it.

 

“Our fans won't have to travel too far and while the League is obviously our priority, a nice run in the Cup competitions would be very welcome.

 

“Peterborough's chairman Barry Fry sent me a nice letter after I got the job here and is one of the great characters in the game and they have a new manager themselves in Keith Alexander, who I always felt did a good job at Lincoln.”

 

The game will take place on Tuesday 22nd August, kick-off 7.45pm at London Road.
