Nash To Stay

Town defender Gerard Nash will spend pre-season training with Town to help build up his fitness before he continues to find another club.

The 19-year-old made just one appearance for the Town first team, that coming way back in 2003 against Burnley at Portman Road, but his career was disrupted soon after when he underwent a second cruciate ligament operation.

 

He was let go at the end of last season by former Town manager Joe Royle after he failed to break back into the first team.
