Currie Concerned

Town midfielder Darren Currie is concerned that a new manager Town could change things dramatically for him.

Currie was clearly highly rated by Joe Royle as he played in every one of Town’s games last season, but a new manager could change all that.

 

Currie: “I am obviously thinking about my future and feeling unsettled.

 

“You never know what the new manager will think of you.

 

“You could be flavour of the month with the new manager, but, equally, you could be told you're not what the club needs anymore.

 

“I love playing for Ipswich and everything is perfect for me and my family.

 

“But I might not be what the new manager wants and could find myself being the first out the door.

 

“That's the harsh reality of football.

 

“A few of the lads' futures could be turned upside down which is, of course, very upsetting.”
