Davies Move Unlikely

Preston North End chairman Derek Shaw says Preston manager Billy Davies is happy to stay at Deepdale.

Davies has been linked with the jobs at Town and at Derby County but Shaw says he is happy to stay at Deepdale but does expect clubs to enquire about him.

 

Shaw: “Billy is contracted with ourselves. He is very happy, he is very positive in his comments about next season already, I don't think we will have any problems but it wouldn't surprise me if somebody did knock on our door.”
