A disappointing season by Town ended in a disappointing fashion when they lost 2-1 to Plymouth yesterday.

Town looked set to spoil Micky Evans’ leaving party after just 11 minutes yesterday when Nicky Forster headed in Chris Casement’s cross, his fourth goal in four games since returning from injury.

 

Evans who would be leaving Plymouth after yesterdays match gave the Plymouth fans something to remember him by, on 28 minutes he set up Capaldi to make it 1-1 and 12 minutes into the second half he put Plymouth into the lead when he headed in Pericard’s flick on.

 

The season has ended, Town are 15^th which is our worse finish since 1966.
