Town defender Luis Sito-Castro has been placed on the transfer list by Town manager Joe Royle.

The 25-year-old has two years left on his current contract but with Fabian Wilnis and Chris Casement currently the first choice right backs Joe Royle has seen it fit to allow Sito to move on.

 

Royle: “I have told Sito this morning that we will be making him available for transfer, Fabian has maintained good form through the season and we're not in a position where we can afford to have two senior right-backs.

 

“Chris Casement is now very much in the equation after the progress he has made this year so that has come into my thinking as well. I also need to trim the wage bill if we are to be in a position where I can bring in two or three new players in the summer.

 

“Sito needs to be playing football week in, week out and we will do all we can to help him achieve that at another club.”
