Town slumped to another disappointing home defeat as relegation threatened Brighton left Portman Road with all three points.

Town dominated the first half but failed to create many clear cut goal scoring opportunities and were punished late on in the first half when Grifton Noel-Williams turned Chris Casement before firing the ball past Shane Supple.

The visitors went 2-0 up with just over 15 minutes left to play when Lynch managed to poke the ball home.

Town gave them selves some hope just before stoppage time when Nicky Forster headed home.
