Surgery For Ian?

Town midfielder Ian Westlake will be seeing a specialist to determine if he needs surgery on his injured ankle.

Westy is already ruled out for the rest of the season after injuring his ankle in Town’s draw with Hull on Saturday and although the ankle is not broken he may need surgery on ligaments.

Town physio Dave Williams: “The x-ray was clear but the problem is the ligaments and he may need surgery, his full weight has gone over on the same ankle that he damaged at the start of the season and it's completely twisted.

“He'll will be seeing a specialist and he'll decide what course of action to take but whatever the result he is out for the rest of the season.”
