On-loan Southampton striker Ricardo Fuller says he has nothing to prove tomorrow when he faces Crystal Palace tomorrow.

Fuller spent an unsuccessful loan spell at Selhurst Park in 2001 but he says he has nothing to prove when Town take on Palace tomorrow.

 

Fuller:  “I went to Crystal Palace to find my feet and get back into the game but it never really went to plan as I had been out for such a long time.

 

“Trying to play at 100 per cent and at 100 miles per hour I then got injured again.

 

“If I played a certain amount of games they would have signed me, but with me not being totally fit it was a bit difficult for them from a business point of view.

 

“They had doubts and I had no problem with that - that's how it goes.

 

“But it's all in the past and I just want to look ahead as much as I can.

 

“I take every game as it comes and I'm always going to do my best.

 

“It does not matter if it's against a team that I have played for before, I just try to do the best I can - I have nothing to prove to anyone.”
