Williams Misses Leeds

Ipswich Town midfielder Gavin Williams will miss tomorrow nights championship game against Leeds United with a knee injury.

The 25-year-old jarred his knee in Town’s 2-0 win against Southampton 9 days ago and he will miss tomorrow nights game with Leeds but should be fit for the East Anglian Derby on Sunday.

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “Gavin returned to training on Sunday but the knee is still a little sore so we will give the extra time to get fit, he won't be included in the squad for the Leeds game but has a big chance of being back for Sunday and Norwich.”

 

Jimmy Juan also misses out tomorrow night because of a suspension.
