Ipswich Town midfielder Matt Richards says Towns 1-0 win against Luton earlier today was a good result and great boast for the club and its supporters.

Matt: “I enjoyed the game; it was good for the team and the fans to get that result. I thought we played well and it was nice to keep a clean sheet.

 

“We have been playing well and certainly in the last three games we've put in good performances but we've not been able to put the ball in to the net.

 

“We need to work even harder on our finishing touches and get a few more goals.

 

“Everyone knows we've been decimated with injuries and not been able to put out the same side for two games running. Dean (Bowditch) picked up an injury today and had to go off and that's just another one to add to the list.

 

“Our main aim is to get more shots in and create more chances. We're heading in the right direction and playing really well but the big thing today was the result and that was really important for our confidence.”
