Joe: Nicky Deserved Goal

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes Town striker Nicky Forster deserved his goal against Sheffield Wednesday.

Forster scored the only goal of Town’s 1-0 win against the owls on Saturday when he slotted home Jason De Vos’ flick on.

 

Joe: “Nicky had been running round like a terrier.

 

“He spent all afternoon trying to get a touch, so I was so pleased to see him rewarded with a goal.”
