Team news, manager previews and match odds ahead of Town’s game with Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

Town manager Joe Royle has just one player missing for certain, Owen Garvan will miss the game with a ankle injury, Richard Naylor is a doubt with a knee injury while Ian Westlake, Kevin Horlock and Nicky Forster could all return after injuries.

Joe Royle: no pre-match thoughts currently available.

Town squad: Dean Bowditch, Darren Currie, Jason De Vos, Nicky Forster, Kevin Horlock, Jimmy Juan, Jim Magilton, Dean McDonald, Jay McEveley, Richard Naylor, Sam Parkin, Lewis Price, Adam Proudlock, Matt Richards, Luis Sito-Castro, Shane Supple, Ian Westlake, Fabian Wilnis.

Tony Pulis is expected to name the same squad that started the abandoned game against Leicester in midweek.

Plymouth manager Tony Pulis: “We will go there and be very positive again, our best performance since I've come here was at Sheffield United, going forward, when we created loads of chances - and that's the only game we lost. As they say, it's a funny old game.

“I hope the players are looking forward to the game. I certainly am. This is why we're in this league. On Tuesday, we played Leicester City who were in the Premiership a few years ago, in Europe, going to Wembley; now we play Ipswich, who have won the Championships and the FA Cup.

“That's why we are in this league and working our socks off to try and bring players in to help the squad we've got which will enable us to stay in this league and compete against the top 40 clubs in the country.

“The league's wide open. I spoke to a Stoke City fan last week and he was all doom and gloom, they won this week and they are three points off a play-off position - and they have lost six out of seven games.

“I know it's an old cliché but every game is difficult and every game is for three points, we have just got to make sure we are focused on those individual games.

“It is important we bring a little bit more quality in so that we can turn those draws into wins.”

Match odds from Coral:

Ipswich: 10/11

Draw: 9/4

Plymouth: 12/5

STB Prediction 3-0 Town (16/1)

It’s my birthday tomorrow so it had better be a good game.
