Team news and more ahead of Town’s championship clash with Brighton at the Withdean Stadium.

Brighton will be hoping to celebrate being allowed to build their new stadium by getting all three points against Town, but they will have to do that with out Richard Carpenter who is out with a foot injury. Jason Dodd is back after an ankle injury but my not return to the starting line up just yet.

Brighton manager Mark McGhee: no pre-match thoughts currently available.

Town goalkeeper Lewis Price is expected to be fit but my remain on the bench in favour of Shane Supple, Town’s midfield will be missing three regular players tomorrow with Kevin Horlock, Owen Garvan and Ian Westlake all unavailable so one of the possible midfield line ups would be: Matt Richards, Jim Magilton, Darren Currie and Jimmy Juan.

Town manager Joe Royle: “They will have a party atmosphere there and it will be nice to be party poopers. We have seen that happen to ourselves too many times recently, we go there needing a win. Both sides do really. We are not in the best of form recently but I would like us to be judged when we have our best side out.

“We have not been able to put a consistent side out this season but whoever plays against Brighton, we need to perform a lot better than we did against Watford last week.”

Town Squad: Dean Bowditch, Darren Currie, Jason De Vos, Nicky Forster, Jimmy Juan, Jim Magilton, Jay McEveley, Richard Naylor, Sam Parkin, Jaime Peters, Lewis Price, Adam Proudlock, Matt Richards, Luis Sito-Castro, Shane Supple, Fabian Wilnis.
