Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price is excited at the prospect of making his Wales debut against Belfast tomorrow.

Price is widely tipped by many to start in goal for Wales against Northern Ireland on Saturday after Burnley goalkeeper Danny Coyne was ruled out for the rest of the season.

 

Price: “I've really enjoyed joining up with the squad and if I get my chance either against Ireland or Azerbaijan then it will be great, if it doesn't work out like that, then I'll continue to work hard and hope my opportunity will come along next time."

 

“There's a good mood in the Wales camp and although we're gutted about not qualifying it's still an important game for us, we're looking forward to the European Championship now so we're hoping to improve our ranking for that.

 

“I think the manager is looking to build for that campaign and he'll probably bring in the youngsters and he's certainly not afraid to use them.”

 

Wales play Northern Ireland in Belfast tomorrow and Azerbaijan in Cardiff on Saturday.
