Lewis Price has been with Town since late 2001 and is now Towns first choice goalkeeper following the departure of Kelvin Davis in the summer as well being Joe Royle’s number one he is the Welsh under 21 goalkeeper and on the fringes of John Toshack’s full Wales side, Price is actually English but his father is Welsh which qualifies him to play for the Dragons.


Price made his debut for Town against Gillingham at the preistfield stadium but his debut was not as good as he of would liked as his first duty was pick out a penalty from the back of the net, but his next penalty experience was a happier one, Price was given a start against Coventry last season in front of Sky Sports cameras and announced his arrival as a real threat to Davis’ number one shirt when he kept Stern John out from 12 yards in what was his first league start for Town.


Price has only been at one other club in his professional career with a loan spell at Cambridge last season.
