Doubts For Friday

Ipswich Town strikers Nicky Forster and Dean Bowditch are both big doubts for Friday's friendly against Atletico Madrid.

Town physio Matt Byard: “Nicky has a thigh strain which he picked up on tour and looks very doubtful for the Atletico game, he is having treatment but a return against Colchester looks a more realistic target. We are being cautious with him with the season just a week or so away but there should be mo problem with him being available for the Championship kick-off against Cardiff.”

 

Matt also confirmed that Dean Bowditch is a doubt with a foot injury, adding: “He has bruised the top of his foot and he looks very doubtful for Friday.”
