Ipswich Town will have to wait until the end of the week before knowing if it will be necessary to appeal Jim Magilton’s red card.
Town’s captain was shown red five minutes from the end of the 3-2 defeat against Ujpest last Friday following a bust up with Ujpest striker Peter Rajczi, which resulted in both players being sent off.
Club secretary Sally Webb: “We just have to wait and see what happens.
“The referee's report will first be sent to the Hungarian FA and from there on to our own Football Association so we won't know where we stand until the end of this week.”
